Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 30th anniversary General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy which took place in Chalkidiki (Greece) on 29 June – 2 July 2023
We congratulate all parliamentarians, national parliaments and international parliamentary organizations on the International Day of Parliamentarism and wish successful activities for the benefit of the peoples of the wider Black Sea region and the whole world.
On this day, we once again want to emphasize the importance of parliamentary activity and the role of parliamentarians in improving the living conditions of people.
On 27 June 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Tbilisi and held meetings in the Parliament of Georgia and the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
We wish the entire Black Sea region prosperity and successful achievement of the objectives, and enrichment of unique values and traditions of the countries and peoples in the Region.
On 14-15 June 2023, Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, took part virtually in the European Conference on Beautiful, Sustainable and Inclusive Cities, which was organized under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, took part in the Forty-sixth Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) of the BSEC Member States, which was held online on 13 June 2023.
On 12 June 2023, an Additional Meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat in accordance with the Decision of the 61st PABSEC General Assembly, held in Ankara on 4-5 May 2023.

On 9 June 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, took part in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, which was organized in the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul.
