On 27 February 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Ankara and had meetings at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.
The date of 26 February 2023 marks the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
On 23-24 February 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 22nd Winter Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna. The session was attended by nearly 250 parliamentarians from 52 member countries.
The 61st Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held online on 22 February 2023 with the technical support of the Senate of Romania. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine.
Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation and Mr. Mahmut Sakli, member of the Trustees Board of Marmara Group Foundation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul, on 20 February 2023 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
On 17 February 2023, the meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat.

On 13-14 February 2023, Mr. Igor Becic, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Serbian Delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Ali Ustundag, Administrative Officer of the PABSEC International Secretariat, participated in the 2023 Parliamentary Hearings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union at the UN in New York.
On 9 February 2023, Ambassador Merve Kavakci, First Deputy Secretary General of the Permanent International Secretariat of the BSEC Organization, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
