On 24-26 May 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, together with a delegation of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat, took part in the annual International Transport Forum Summit, in Leipzig (Germany), which was dedicated to the topic “Transport enabling sustainable economies”.

Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the online parliamentary meeting jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), on 25 May 2023.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Joint Conference of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on "The Role of National Parliaments in Promoting Security and Stability through Green Economy, Connectivity and Sustainable Development", which was held in Baku on 22-23 May 2023.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Special Session of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Baku, on 16 May 2023.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General participated virtually in the 4th Joint IMF-OECD-World Bank Conference on Structural Reforms which took place on 15 May 2023, in Paris, in the OECD premises.

On 14 May 2023 the PABSEC delegation composed of Mr. Musa Guliyev, Chairman of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee, member of the PABSEC Azerbaijani delegation, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Vice-Chair of the PABSEC Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee, member of the PABSEC Georgian delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the observation mission to the parliamentary and presidential elections in the Republic of Turkiye in the city of Konya.

The 61st Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly was held in Ankara, on 4-5 May 2023, upon the invitation of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.
