The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Nazim Mavis, Member of the PABSEC Turkish delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Annual IPU 2026 Parliamentary Hearing, held on 12–13 February 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Mrs. Valentina Cobzareanu, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Coordination meeting of the Georgian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, which was held online on 2 February 2026.
Mr. Fatih Dönmez, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, took part in the First Part of the Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which was held in Strasbourg on 26 - 30 January 2026.
On 25–28 January 2026, the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, under the theme “The Role of Asian Parliaments in Strengthening Intercultural and Inter-civilizational Dialogue in Asia: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Pathways.”
On 19 January 2026, Professor Osman Bulent Zulfikar, Rector of the Istanbul University, President of the Black Sea University Network (BSUN) paid visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.

Mr. Borys Kolisnychenko, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 51st Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the BSEC Member States, which was held online on 19 December 2025.
On 17 December 2025, Mr. Borys Kolysnichenko, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, held at the headquarters of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in Istanbul.
On 16 December 2025, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, visited the city of Rize with the aim to participate in the preparatory work for the Second International Ayder Forum to be organised in Ayder (Rize, Republic of Türkiye) on 14-17 January 2026.
On 11 December 2025, the representatives of the Union of Bosphorus Municipalities, composed of Mr. Hüseyin Coşkun, Deputy Mayor of the Sariyer Municipality, member of the Union, Mr. Yasin Cemal Galata, Manager of the Union, and Ms. İrem Köse Reis, Head of the Fisheries Unit of Sarıyer Municipality, paid a visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
