The PABSEC International Secretariat expresses its warmest congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Serbia. On this special day, we would like to wish the people of the Republic of Serbia, success in their endeavours, happiness, peace and prosperity.
On 13 February 2019, Ambassador Georgi Panayotov, representative of the Bulgarian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and Mrs. Rositsa Stoyeva, Executive Manager of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat, visited the International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
On 11 February 2019, Mr. Sahak Sargsyan, the new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation visited the International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
On 8 February 2019, the meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat.
On 6-7 February 2019, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit, organized by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation.
Upon the invitation of Mr. Petar Kanev, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, attended the celebration of the 140th Anniversary of the establishment of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.
On 4 February 2019, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General paid a working visit to Ankara to Mr. Binali Yıldırım, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey (GNAT).
The Working Meeting between the Members of the BSEC PERMIS and the Members of the PABSEC International Secretariat took place at the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul on 28 January 2019 upon the initiative of the Secretaries General of the BSEC PERMIS and the PABSEC.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated to the meeting of Interested Member States on the Implementation of the “Golden Fleece” Project, which took place in Istanbul, on 30 January 2019, in the BSEC PERMIS Headquarters.
On 22 January 2018, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the BSEC Coordination Meetings of the BSEC Troika (Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Bulgaria and Hellenic Republic), BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS and also in the Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS. These meetings were hosted by the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS) in Istanbul.
