PABSEC Deputy Secretary General Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis attended the 10th International Black Sea Symposium on “The Black Sea – Silk Road corridor: Building bridges of cooperation”, which was organized by the International Center for Black Sea Studies in Athens, Greece, on 6-7 March 2019.
The First 2019 Meeting of the Working Group on the PABSEC Rules of Procedure was held in Istanbul on 6 March 2019. The representatives from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine participated in the Meeting.
On 28 February 2019, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General, visited Baku with a working visit and met with Mr. Ogtay Asadov, the PABSEC President, and the Chairman of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On 23-26 February 2019, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Petar Kanev, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the Bulgarian PABSEC Delegation, Mr. Otar Danelia, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the Georgian PABSEC Delegation, Mr. Ramaz Nikolashvili, Vice-Chairman of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee and member of the Georgian PABSEC Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the monitoring of the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova.
The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Igor Becic, the Head of the Serbian PABSEC delegation and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, the PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 13th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) in Belgrade, Serbia, on 21-22 February 2019.
The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Cemal Ozturk, PABSEC Vice-President in charge of Financial Matters and Head of the Turkish PABSEC Delegation and Mr. Fuat Kucukaydin, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General in charge of Administrative and Financial Matters participated in the 18th Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly at the Hofburg Congress Centre in Vienna on 21-22 February 2019.
The 81st meeting of the Inland Transport Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE ITC) was held in Geneva on 19-22 February 2019. At the meeting, the PABSEC International Secretariat was represented by Mrs. Natia Gaprindashvili, Secretary of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee.
