The 53rd Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee was held in Giresun on 18-19 September 2019 upon the invitation of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The national delegations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey took part in the Meeting.
On 14 September 2019, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Vice-Chairman of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee, member of the Georgian PABSEC Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and met with the President of the Parliament, Mrs. Zinaida Greceanii.
Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul, on 10 September 2019 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Mesim Hajiyev, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Istanbul, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat on 5 September 2019 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General.
On 3 September 2019 Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Sofia and met with Mrs. Tsveta Karayancheva, PABSEC President, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. Mr. Petar Kanev, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation also participated in the meeting.
Congratulations to our host country, the Republic of Turkey, on the occasion of the Victory Day on 30 August. We wish the people of Turkey success in their endeavours, happiness and prosperity.
Mr. Andrey Buravov, Consul General of the Russian Federation to Istanbul, and Mr. Anton Bochkarev, Chief of Protocol of the Consulate General, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul on 29 August 2019 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Mikhail Emelianov, Head of the PABSEC Russian delegation, Chairman of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee, participated in the 28th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference held in Oslo (Norway) on 25-27 August 2019.
