The 59th Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Education and Social Affairs Committee was held online on 13 October 2022 with the technical support of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania.
On 12 October 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 9th Green Energy Investment Forum, within the framework of the International Scientific Conference on Energy and Climate Change, which was organized in Athens by the Energy Policy and Development Centre (KEPA) and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
On 7 October 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the International Conference “CIS Convention on Standards for Democratic Elections: Open Space for International Cooperation”, which was attended by more than 200 participants: parliamentarians, representatives of international parliamentary delegations, election administration bodies, experts, and scientists.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the 9th OECD Forum on Green Finance and Investment, online on 5-7 October 2022.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended the webinar on “Protecting Environments and Health by Building Urban Resilience“, that took place on Tuesday 4 October 2022.
The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Musa Guliyev, member of the PABSEC Azerbaijani Delegation, Chairman of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, member of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the observation mission for parliamentary elections in Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria), on 2 October 2022. The Delegation was accompanied by Ms. Pavlina Lozanova, Secretary of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, attended the High-Tech Summit for the Black Sea, held on 27-28 September 2022, in Varna, Bulgaria.
On 22-23 September 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Belgrade and had meetings in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended the webinar on “the impact of climate change on displacement and human security”, on 21 September 2022.
