Participation of PABSEC in the First Meeting of the BSEC-URTA Working Group on Passenger Transport
On 2 September 2025, the Deputy Secretary General of the PABSEC, Mr. Borys Kolisnychenko, participated in the inaugural meeting of the BSEC-URTA Working Group on Passenger Transport.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current situation, key challenges, and potential solutions for the development of passenger transport in the BSEC Region. Expert presentations highlighted a range of issues, including the state of digitalization and bilateral agreements between the BSEC Member States.
In his address, Mr. Kolisnychenko congratulated BSEC-URTA on the establishment of this new platform and underlined the importance of passenger transport not only for mobility, but also for strengthening regional integration, cultural exchange, and socio-economic development in the Black Sea region. He emphasized that PABSEC attaches great importance to transport cooperation and assured that the Assembly will continue to support the initiatives of BSEC-URTA, reflecting their outcomes in its parliamentary work.
