PABSEC Participation in the Coordination Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, the Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC PERMIS, 3 July 2026
On 3 July 2026, Mr Borys Kolisnychenko, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Coordination Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, the Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC PERMIS, held online at the initiative of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office.
The Meeting was chaired by Mr Nikolaos Emirzas, Representative of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs, B4 Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. Representatives of the BSEC Member States, BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC PERMIS attended the Meeting.
The participants reviewed the BSEC Calendar of Events for the period from 1 July to 31 December 2026, exchanged views on ongoing and planned activities of the BSEC Related Bodies, and discussed coordination within the BSEC framework. The priorities of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office were also presented.
In his intervention, Mr Kolisnychenko informed participants about the outcomes of the 67th General Assembly of PABSEC. He emphasized that the deliberations reaffirmed the importance of maintaining dialogue and strengthening cooperation in the face of ongoing geopolitical, economic and technological challenges in the Black Sea region. He further noted that, under the Hellenic Presidency, PABSEC will continue its active programme of work and presented the Assembly’s Calendar of Activities for the second half of 2026.
