Visit of Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 27 August 2020
On 27 August 2020, Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, and Mr. Cafer Okray, Secretary General of the Foundation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the meeting, Mr. Akkan Suver informed the PABSEC Secretary General about the activities of the Marmara Group Foundation and extended the invitation to the 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit which was postponed due to the pandemic and will be held in Istanbul on 7-8 October 2020.
The PABSEC Secretary General thanked the guests for the visit and informed about the results of the 55th PABSEC General Assembly held online on 6 August 2020, as well as about the current and future activities of the Assembly within the framework of the PABSEC Hellenic Presidency.
It was noted that the representatives of the PABSEC and the Marmara Group Foundation participate in each other’s events on a permanent basis, underlining that an enhanced cooperation will be useful for both organizations.
